New Hope Church Expansion Project

As part of our ONE Initiative, we are so excited to be breaking ground on our First Street location expansion. Over the coming months we will be expanding our footprint, adding a brand new 1000 person sanctuary, beautiful new lobby, entirely new kid's church wing to welcome new families and an expanded parking lot. What happened

  • Windows at the rear of the building are all in
  • Block for stage supports are installed
  • Stucco has started and is well underway at the back of the building
  • Lobby washrooms have been framed in
  • HVAC rooftop units have been installed
  • Duct work is well underway

What's happening

  • Rough ins for electrical and plumbing
  • Duct work being installed
  • Stucco prep for South and West side being prepped
  • Steel siding being installed on upper sections in sanctuary

What's happening next

  • Front Windows to be installed
  • Steel for floor to be installed above men's room and storage room
  • Steel studs in classrooms to start being installed 
  • Septic tank to be installed and plumbed in
  • Curbs and sidewalks

What to pray for

  • Pray for strong connections with workers at our weekly BBQ's
  • Pray for the safety and security of workers and against people stealing equipment and tools
  • Pray for guidance and wisdom in making the right decisions to help make this a welcoming space for our church family
