We resubmitted our plans to the city with updated engineering to meet seismic requirements. After a season of waiting, we are excited to celebrate that our approvals and permits have now been issued! During that time, our team continued working behind the scenes, reviewing specifications and refining layouts for areas like the coffee bar, the new baptism space, security camera placement, and other tech upgrades.

We’re digging, Hallelujah! Excavation for the foundation perimeter footings, walls, and piers is underway. Our concrete contractor is moving quickly behind the excavation crew, forming the footings and preparing the rebar.

Once the rebar is installed and inspected, concrete will be poured for the footings. After that, the team will move into forming the foundation walls.

Please pray for continued progress and success in our foundation work. Pray also that the remaining city approvals will come through quickly.
Additionally, pray for the safety of every worker and volunteer on site and for the protection of tools, supplies, and equipment throughout the construction process.
