It’s been another great few weeks of progress on site! The structural steel for the lobby is now fully installed, and we’ve officially started work on the roof steel pan. There was also some prefabricated steel sorting and adjustments completed to keep everything moving forward smoothly.
The parking lot is in a great spot as well. It’s been prepped and is now usable, and a new drainage area has been installed to help manage runoff and keep things working well.

Things are moving along nicely right now as the team continues installing the steel pan roof over the lobby. At the same time, the new hydro vault installation is underway, which is another big step forward for the project.

We’re excited for what’s coming next! Structural steel for the sanctuary is up next, which is a huge milestone as this will use up the prefab steel that has been on site for the past few years. Once that’s in place, we’ll be able to move ahead with finishing the front covered patio that connects into the sanctuary. After that, the team will circle back to complete the main entrance steel, which is currently open to allow access for crane equipment. Following the installation of the steel will be the installation of the exterior wall steel studs, which will further define the shape of the building.

We’d love your continued prayers for all the workers on site. That they would be safe, both physically and mentally. Pray also that this project would be more than just construction, but an opportunity to impact lives, and that some would come to know God through their time here.
As we begin hosting a weekly BBQ for the workers, volunteers and staff, pray that it would be a fun and welcoming space where real connections are built. We’re believing that God will use those moments in powerful ways to reach people right where they’re at.
